4/9/2012 Top Celebrity News - Lohan on Battery Charges

           Lindsay Lohan allegedly got into an altercation with a woman at a club this past Thursday. Lohan, who has only been on probation for two weeks now, has had an incident report filed against her at the West Hollywood Sheriff's depart according to TMZ. The report claims that Lohan shoved the woman. Lohan's agent denies the claim.

          Country star, Jake Owen, surprised girlfriend Lucy Buchanan with an egagement on Saturday night. Owen took Buchanan out on the stage at the Citrus Bowl at Vergo Beach High while singing "Don't Think I Can't Love You" and stopped in the middle of the song to get down on one knee and propose in front of the audience. Buchanan accepted of course.

           The world of broadcast media lost a great journalist over this past weekend. Mike Wallace, who worked on CBS "60 Minutes" for 38 years before retirng in 2006, died on Saturday night at the age of 93. Wallace was a legendary journalist with 21 Emmy awards, five DuPont-Columbia journalism awards, and five Peabody awards. He will be missed, but his work will be remembered.
