Oh boy, college girls better prepare themselves. It turns out that the winner of the tenth season of American Idol, Scotty McCreery, has announced that he will be choosing a college to attend in the fall. The country-singer heartthrob told PEOPLE magazine that he looks forward to attending school, but will also be making time to head out on the road to share his music. With the help of his family, he will choose a school, although he already seems to have some places in mind, "I grew up rooting for NC State, and that's where my dad went. But also, there are schools in Nashville that have been really great."
In other music news, Katy Perry revealed last night on the orange carpet at Nickolodeon's 25th Annual Kid's Choice Awards, that she will be releasing a 3D concert movie. Katy Perry: Part of Me can be expected to be seen in theaters this upcoming summer over July Fourth weekend.
Also seen last night at the Kid's Choice Awards was Justin Bieber, Halle Berry, Chris Colfer, Taylor Lautner, and so many others. Some surprising wins were seen last night including Tim Tebow taking the title of Favorite Male Athlete and Big Time Rush with a win in Favorite Music Group. Hosted by Will Smith, the night was one filled with laughs and of course the classic "sliming."
